Advanced Testing Techniques SQS-ATT £750
There are many testing techniques available to the tester however they are rarely taught from the practitioner’s point of view. Rather than provide an overview of as many techniques as possible this course focuses on the most useful techniques that will give a measurable benefit when implemented on a testing project. The techniques are taught using examples and exercises based on real project experience. Testers will return to work with a working knowledge of the techniques taught on this course.

Writing Test Plans SQS-TP £750
Test analysts and test team leaders need to understand how to plan, estimate and schedule testing tasks and resources. The course covers the seven methods of estimation, with the positives and negatives for each method based on the experience SQS has gained over the years working in many industries.

Writing Test Strategies SQS-WTS £750
The role of the manager in seldom easy, most projects have many similarities but essentially all projects are different and although a standard approach may work, a specific and tailored approach is far better. How does the test manager choose the specific approach and how can that approach be chosen with confidence? This two day course explores the similarities and the differences found in diverse software based projects and provides the test manager with practical guidance in the choice of a suitable strategy. This course puts the manager into the project situation where a strategic approach is needed. The burning question is "What strategy should I choose?". On completion of this course attendees will have encountered several different project challenges and will have had to propose a suitable approach for each.
